Charlotte to host 2011 CIAA Basketball Tournament - February 28 - March 5

Charlotte will host the CIAA Basketball tournament from February 28 through March 5, 2011. The CIAA tournament is one of the nation's premier sporting events and is the third most attended basketball tournament among all NCAA divisions. The tournament week features a wide variety of events including parties, educational and healthy-living components, step shows, and a battle of the bands. Games will be held at Time Warner Cable Arena, with the championship game scheduled for Saturday March 5th.
